Picked up my first OTF, its a mini though...kind of a novelty feel, but it sure is a conversation starter. Lots of folks are still not aware of these things. Bought my son a Ace RIV from GiantMouse with brass scales. Exceptional knife for the money.

However, I went hoping to buy a 1918 Trench knife from Les George. Apparently there is some sort of special mold/die that's required to make these knifes and somehow he's not able (at the time of the show) to continue building these things. They are a stunning tribute the original. Without him, I don't see anyone making them outside of foreign manufacturing (typically India) Anyone have any inside info on a US maker, or happen to know where one can still be bought. I mean I have to have one before I die! 😌
