What do the infamous black helicopters look like?

Didn't have my phone on me so I couldn't get a pic but I didn't hear them at all until they were 200 yards away. They were black for sure with a big gun on front. Airwolf maybe?

Big gun on front? An Apache has a gun slung underneath.
Could it have been a Blackhawk or Seahawk with a refueling probe?
