Is being banned a badge of honor?

I am not banned from GON, GPDO, or any other site - but I also don't flaunt the rules. It's just not that difficult to follow the rules as it ain't my site, I'm just a visitor. Just like this place, nearly every day I see folks violating the price bashing rules - is it so tough just to say nothing and move on? Does it make you a hero to violate rules? I'm serious about this as from what I read in threads like this it seems like it...

i think many ODT members gripes about GON stems from the senseless banning and draconian approach the moderators there take

i have been warned for a post or two of mine on here, and i corrected the problem. the mod at the time sent a very simple PM, which said "hey we dont allow that" or "hey about your post, fix this for this reason" and they were super nice. and of course my response was "ohh my bad, wont happen again"

of course if i had been a dick to them for no reason then ya i get it, but id say about 99% of the users on here are reasonable and will either correct the problem or compromise on any issue

I love the magazine, had it since its inception, hunted with most of the staff, have had no problems, still do not. Just MO

Lot of folks on ODT are on GON also,ain't no biggie.Lot of good people there.Plus the same guns on ODT are on GON most of the time.Heck ole sandmix is still there.

Im still a member there, have been for years, although I dont visit anymore. Cept when deer season rolls around. Had several deals there and no problems. Most of the ppl are like the ppl here. If you go look at their classifieds 75% of them are here as well so I dont bother going there. I did get a warning once for saying hell.
