I believe the bottom one is the $5 model and the top is the $10 model. I could be wrong though, I'm not in Walmart too often

This is correct. The orange $10 knife has D2 steel and a steel-lined handle. The white $5 one is unnamed stainless steel and unlined handles.

The orange D2 version is a great knife for $10. BlackRifler42 did hit the mother lode, or however you spell it.
