I am pretty sure that the site started prior to 2010 just a different format. Okuma Steve would know.

It started as Georgia Gun Trader, some time before 2010 by same group of people. Can't remember when though.

Was definitely Georgia Gun Trader initially. I have a PM to Okuma dated July 17th, 2010 asking if he could transfer all my posts from GGT to here. He responded back all he could do was transfer total post count, but not actual posts.
You're right about GON getting out of control and they went wonky about it. Seems a lot of rubbish types were infiltrating it.

No. We bought that after we started ODT and brought/merged it over.
