147gr G2 Gold Dot testing today.

4.5gr of CFE Pistol cycled fantastic and I even recovered one from the backstop about 11” deep.

I bought some of those projectiles a couple of months age. Can't wait to fire a few into my ballistics gel!

First time powder coating. Did about 650 9mm bullets. I made too big of a batch each time I think since I had a lot of stuck together bullets. Not sure how significant a few bare spots are but I will see. I’m questioning whether this will be a worthwhile endeavor. Hell of a lot more work than tumble lube. I can tumble lube a gallon at a time but can only bake a fraction of that and it takes 20 minutes of oven time.
If the bare spots aren’t a problem, it may be worth it to not have to clean a seater die as often.

Bare spots are not a problem. But, I’m ocd and usually place mine base down on a silicone baking mat for perfection.

Cast 1500 124 grain tumble lube bullets for the ford light blue PC treatment. Was only going to do a few but when you are in the groove and everything is smooth and they are just falling out of the mold with a little shake, turn the porch light on and keep churning.

Me either.. sheesh. I just loaded 50 rounds for my M1 Garand today. My small feeling of accomplishment has dissipated after that. Hahahah
