What have you reloaded today?

I gotz me 1000 pieces of 44 mag brass, primers, and 2000 xtp bullets and 8-12 lbs of powder though. Time to get to work.

I really want to load for 300WM but Midwayusa hasn't had powder or primers for a while now.
Knocked out this lil box of 44 special today.
250g Keith hardcast , Unique powder, Win primers, Starline brass.
Just over 1k plinkerz for the R92 ;)

Well being a literal hand loader I managed to get 100 .223 cases sized, chamfered and pressed in primers. I would have loaded them but I am short on projectiles on .223 and 6.8spcll.. I have 200 6.8 ready for powder and projectiles and now 100 .223 in the same boat. Speaking of which, I have a Hornady case prep center but I have to use this prehistoric case trimming procedure. Which is put the shell in the holder and pull down on the lever and there is a special die that puts the shell at proper length and with the right die there is a little hand crank job to spin and it sizes it to the right length. It really gives your arm a work out and I have to take breaks. Not to mention the time consumption.

I am looking for a better case prep center and Lyman makes one that trims, chambers and cleans the primer pocket all in one easy pass. It's only 129 bucks. Now Frankfort Arsenal makes one as well but I am sure it is costly.

So the point I am getting at is, have anyone had any experience with the Lyman unit. It uses bushings to interchange for different calibers and has variable speed as well to control chatter. I really could use some input here. I will create a thread and get out there for those who done see this post. The Frankfort Arsenal unit is 100 dollars more.a

I have, and regularly use, the Frankfort unit. I like it. It works reasonably well. Is it worth $100 more than the Lyman...probably not.

It took some evenings on the sofa processing brass with my hand press, and several Saturdays on a friend’s RockChucker, but here is my father’s gift for Father’s Day.

600 rounds of 9mm
500 rounds of .38 Spl
200 rounds on .357 Mag “soft target” loads
200 rounds of .32 S&W Long

Nice! My birthday was just this past 17th what ya got for me. 😁

Spent exactly an hour last night loading 9mm on the Hornady LnL AP. Progressed at a fairly leisurely pace, checking the OAL and powder charge of every 10th round. Cases were pre-primed, so no need to pause for restocking the primer tube. Wound up with exactly 412 rounds.
