Sclerotinia sclerotiorum fungus - is a plant pathogenic fungus and can cause a disease called white mold if conditions are conducive. S. sclerotiorum can also be known as cottony rot, watery soft rot, stem rot, drop, crown rot and blossom blight. A key characteristic of this pathogen is its ability to produce black resting structures known as sclerotia and white fuzzy growths of mycelium on the plant it infects.

Can it grow in a straight line, once every 10 yards?

Were there ceramic insulators on the lines?

No it was obviously poured out. Whoever did it took special care to pour it on a rock, a log, even a piece of plastic trash in one case. They didn’t want it in the grass. I think Biker13 is on the right track with the dearcain.

We found a game cam last time we were out there so someone is interested in the local wildlife. I doubt they are hunting/poaching but who knows. We just like to explore.
