To everyone that likes to bring up blockers, please don't. You can do whatever you want to, but please don't advise others to do so as well, at least not in public. Without ads we couldn't do half of what we're able to, and blockers take that away.

I always try to avoid anything invasive or within the content. I get offered a good chunk of change quite often to run ads in content, banner wrappers, pop-ups, etc, but I turn them all down. If something annoys me then I won't force our users to deal with it.

And just fyi for everyone, I run all the ads on my view. I know it isn't noble or anything since they are my ads, but I do experience them all and will remove any that bother me. This footer ad was actually a lot larger and I had them cut it in half.
