what kind of bite is this?

Had the same thing happen on my shin. Looked very similar. I assumed a spider. Got bit during the night. I messed around and did NOT go to the doctor as it steadily got worse. Tried to self treat with Neosporin/Bacitracin. When the infection finally spread to the point I had to go to the doctor, it was not fun, at all. Go, NOW.

its a lot better now, swelling went down and the little hole healed up, Still a red spot and it itches now.

I got bit by a brown recluse....Had a slight pimple on my right arm that turned into the tell-tale "bullseye" which was followed by bruising (bluish/green). The center started to hollow out and began to smell. I squeezed the freaking daylights out of it and it looked like tapioca pudding draining out and smelled like rotten chicken. I squeezed until it was serum/blood drain and then poured alcohol (rubbing kind) on it and kept my eye on it for the next few days. The skin all around it started peeling off and it finally healed up. I now have a white dot on my arm where the bite was.

My workspace had an infestation of brown recluses.
