It's definitely the people that make the difference. I'll be attending the Macon show next month and wish it would be sold out to ODT members only. However it looks like that won't be the case this time and people outside of the ODT community will be attending. I hope that doesn't turn it into just another gun show. I always look forward to the fellowship I feel whenever I attend an ODT get together.

So, stop opening for outsiders, that's what most of ODTers complain about! And I bet many won't go to the Macon Show exactly because of that!

How would anyone outside of ODT even know about the show? We don't put up signs or advertise the show anywhere outside of here, so the crowd is always going to be majority members and friends/family or members by default.

Pretty sad how we in middle GA can find a way to make the trip north but it doesn't seem to work the other way.

Good point but I also can't blame you for wanting to cover your costs for putting on the show by allowing non-members to buy tickets on the day of the event.

Well, at the Marietta show, the marquee said gun show. Also, since gun shows ha e been held there at least for the last 20 years, it was relatively easy to figure out.

Also, since very few threads are closed to public view, any non member can see the post about the show. So, there's a few reasons already and I know you ha e turned people away at the first show or pushed them to become members that day.
