What rifle to get? Wife is diametrically opposed to “Miltary Style” rifles

I love the Mini-14 platform, but you should do some research on it before you plunk down the cash. They have issues (Mainly accuracy related) that you should be aware of even if you decide they aren’t deal breakers.

Stop teasing the guy! You all know that non “military” style rifles are the only kind that don’t get up and just shoot people. CNN told me so, I keep my ARs and AKs Chained up when out of the safe. And scary assault rifles shoot bad bullets, but your basic bolt action single shot will shoot happy bullets.
