What s a good artificial bait for GA MARSHES? ST SIMONS FREDERICA RIVER.....

So I love to fish the Frederica River in St Simons. I always go with live bait or shrimp but what is a good all ARTIFICIAL BAIT to catch fish in the Brine right there Between Epworth fishing piers and the Causeway?

Cotee jigs have always worked well for me. Just about anything eats them. Don't swim them, actually jig them. Most of the strikes will come on the fall.

Update. I bought some nice shad baits for not a lot of $ off of Sportsman Guide- for this spring when I am down on St. Simons. Thanks for all the suggestions.
