What was your first firearm?

S&W 586 no dash w/6" barrel right after they came out, wish I had never sold that one but I found something else I wanted more. I only paid $259 for that gun brand new! My first model 29 was only $269. Damn, just damn.....

My first gun was an H&R .410 shotgun ( I still have it) 36years ago I was 8 yrs old. Used it to hunt rabbits and quail.

what was yours and do you still have it?

Same thing but in .20 gauge. My dad would not spent the extra money on that expensive .410 ! I still have it and it will be my son's first gut this September for his birthday.

Same here! Topper Jr. Classic model. Still have it and shoot it occasionally with the original ammo my dad gave me.

I had a red ryder BB gun when I was a kid. My first real firearm was an old taurus revolver when I was 23. I had that dang POS for exactly one day before taking it back because the timing was off. I traded it for an old rossi revolver and the firing pin eventually broke after a few weeks, so I ended up trading THAT for a Smith and Wesson 442. I learned my lesson going with the cheap stuff
