What was your first firearm?

Remington single shot 22 rifle. May dad got it when he was 16. Somewhere in the 1940's.
Still have it. Split the stock on the bottom side on a coon hunt back in the 70's. Lost the broken piece and haven't tried to fix it.
One day I may run across another old Remington with a good stock. Still shoots arrow straight.

I was blessed enough to have a Dad who was a Winchester gun dealer, and my first gun was a Winchester Model 62 22 LR. BEAUTIFUL Rifle with tremendous accuracy and feel. Went to the range and shot it today as a matter of fact! Will never get rid of it! Will certainly hand it down to the kids.

A wore out parkerized Springfield mil spec 1911 with a few Wilson combat parts. It was shot so much before I got it that there was barely any rifling left, and the slide to frame fit was so loose it had about a 1/4" of play at the barrel end

Kel tec pf9 was a gift to me when they first came out about 8 years ago... sold it after about 2 trips to the factory and FTE every 20 rounds or so..My first gun bought was a lightly used Mak 90 from the original owner before the price blow up a few years back... still got it :D
