What was your first gun you ever purchased?

First gun I ever had was a single shot .22 rifle with a shotgun-like action on it -- don't know the brand or anything. But if I ever see one again, I'll get it for sure.

First one I ever bought for myself in modern history was a FMK 9C1-G2 ... traded that one real fast for a Glock 19 Gen4.

Had a few my parents gave me prior. And I cant remember the 1st I actually filled out the paperwork on at a legal age, but in1975 I paid just a little under 180.00 for a new Ruger 44 carbine and a box of ammo at The Sportsman on Thompson Bridge Rd in Gainesville.Used some Hard earned grass cutting money and my Mom filled out the paperwork. I was 12 years old.And that was a lot of cash back then. Wish Id never traded that gun off.

See? Yet another reason why I love this forum so much! Fifteen minutes on here, and I feel like a young buck again.

My first was a Mossberg maverick from Academy in 2013, I've still got it, but it doesn't get much use now.
