About 6 weeks ago or so I had my wife post a kids dirt bike for sale. Had no hits until 2 weeks ago. Guy calls and says he is coming then doesn’t show. Last week he shows up without calling first. Then he lowballs me and I countered. Then says he wants it but don’t have the money. Since Ive had no other interest I said I’d hold it. But since then I’ve had a few more interested. Been a week since he was here. Sent him a text to see if he was still interested and no reply. Do I proceed to entertain new offers or hold it? Don’t want to go back on my world but also don’t want to miss the chance to move it. Im really torn on this. I live by my word.

Tell the guy if he wants it put some money down f he still wants it...

Make the number half the agreed price.. give him a week...

People like the one in the story are why I stopped holding items I sell.
