Contact your local Sheriff’s office. They have control of the county and the Sheriff is an elected official not some local PD hire. I’d make sure WSB and Fox5 knew what the local PD told you. I think they would be very interested in the PD’s position.
Sherriff and News stations for sure. School as soon as they open for the day. Bring proof. Don't take no for an answer. Demand expulsion. These parents are covering for their little ****bag psycho.

Take a laptop or the phone to the school so they can see the threat. With all the violence at schools going on they will handle it sternly and swiftly. You can bank on that!

Threat did not happen at school.
The threat was specifically made to take place at a school and considering the past history of school shootings any PD with a crumb of common sense would take it serious and act proactively not just blow it off with “not our jurisdiction”. As a minimum take down the callers information and put them in contact with whoever’s jurisdiction it is.
I'm curious what was taken and why was the threat made?
