Whats everybody prepping for?

Prepping for life. Everyone in family over 12 in good physical shape and knows how to load shoot and handle AK, 12 ga pump, 9mm Carbine and a hand gun. Got : guns ammo food water and way to carry it. Any city could explode for lots of reasons. I will not go quietly.

I prep for really good poops.
That may involve a thorough seat polishing if at work, proper magazine selection, smart phone with wifi for those marathon poops, and of course
the ever essential tp check prior to ever sitting down!

Prepping for an exciting career as a gigolo

Excellent post WMSproject. +1

For dang sure, A great post. But if the SHTF happens, we will all be in a world of hurt, no matter how much you prep. I have enough food ect for quite sometime, thats not what I worry about its the crazy hords that freak out over snow (bread and milk) that worries me

I had a neighbor who was a Mormon and he said they are taught to keep a year's supply of food and water. Maybe if Mitt Romney is elected, he will have our whole country prepare......

We prep because we want to be prepared for a local event (probable), national event (rare) or global event (very small risk). We strongly feel we'll see a major currency failure or financial crisis in the future that results in significant inflation, but we also make sure we have supplies and plans in case of a natural event like an earthquake or pandemic. We're not nuts about it - very low key. On top of that, I am very bothered by the fact that American culture is becoming more and more technology dependent while self sufficiency and generations of shared knowledge gets thrown out the window.

There are any number of things that can happen and have happened throught history. If anything, we are more at risk as a country in certain scenarios than we ever were in the past. Don't be fooled into thinking the last 60-70 years is the status quo.
