whats the best deal youve ever gotten buying a gun?

Mine was yesterday. I was at work talking guns with some guys. One Guy said , I have a
Glock 22 I'll sell. I asked how much and he said $250. I answered without trying to seem too happy "I'll take it,just let me check it out". Looked great so I bought it. This Guy is a nice
Guy that has plenty of cash. Shot it and it works great.

So what's your best deal.

Bought a Colt King Cobra a while back from a hunting buddy for $185.00----darn thing did come with a box (Oh, well).....BTW, he also took a check beacuse I did not have the cash on me at the time.......I send him a Christmas card every year <grin>

Really, A colt for $55? Man I wish that I was that lucky. Had a friend at work offer a Smith and Wesson Model 36 for $200 about 10 years ago. Like new, No box. Thats my best.
