What's the best thing you've found at a Pawn Shop?

$35 for a single-shot .22 rifle.
But.... when I got it home, I found it had a problem with light firing pin strikes. Not very reliable.
That pawn shop was going out of business, hence the sale and "All Sales Final" policy.

LH Winchester 1400 with gorgeous wood.

If I ever win the lottery, which is unlikely as I have never bought a ticket, I will have someone remake that gun but with only highest quality materials.

last June I bought 2 marlin lever action 44mags for $400 each at a local pawn shop. I also got a henry 357 golden boy a few weeks after that from the same shop for $500. deals are out there you just need to stop at every shop you see and always ask or flash the cash. you never know cash is always king especially if they need to pay a bill and need to make a guaranteed sale.

Great deals!!

I picked up a Romanian M69 training rifle before Christmas. Tag was $99 but go it for $60 since they were clearing inventory for inventory tax time. missing the magazine. Ordered a couple of mags for $50 and mounted a scope on it. good to go. Tiggers on these are long and gritty.

Best thing I ever found in a pawn shop was my Grandfather`s pistol, which I pawned when I was laid off, out of work, short on gas, out of beer, and not much brains. Years later I got a call from the shop owner who remembered something about it. That was 50 years ago. Got it back. Never pawned anything since. It`s amazing how much money you have when ya` give up the booze. At least in my case.

Ruger 10/22 for $60 @ a pawn shop in Seaside California (before it turned into COMMIEfornia) in 1987.
Had more rounds run through it than @Gadgetsrfun has ever shot in his life. :becky:
My son now owns it with a new barrel and other new parts.
Of course, it still shoots like a dream.
Imma calling BS on that >gadgets round count. That boy throws a lot of lead!

I get your point, though!
