What's the best thing you've found at a Pawn Shop?

I bought four broken Arisaka rifles with two Arisaka bayonets from a gentleman in the parking lot at my buddies pawn shop in Tifton for seventy five dollars. I kept the bayonets and sold the rifle parts to a guy in Washington state who restores guns for five hundred fifty dollars after posting "what is this pile of parts worth" on Gunboards. I was going to toss the old rusty barreled receivers and broken stocks but people started emailing me questions and offers. All I wanted was the bayonets.

Last Thursday, I finally hit the Athens Pawn Shop, found a Hank Aaron Bat, with Hank Aaron picture hitting 715 HR , the picture is signed by Hank Aaron, it also has an ball from the pitcher ,who threw Aarron the ball with his autograph on the ball. All these things come in one big framed case. I'm going back to buy a Mickey, Mantle signed items, the owner was a good friend of Mickey, Mantle and was with Mantle at his death bed.

Thornton's, the owner is a ex College professor from UGA. He has allot of sign Bull Dog , Items and WW-2 SS Uniforms and Daggers in outstanding conditions. Good luck

Very nice CZ 17 Hmr rifle for $100. They were stuck at $275 when I decided to check the bore. Someone had fired a 22 in it and stopped up the barrel. I offered $100 as is. They refused because of liability, I offered to sign a waiver. A year later the manager stopped and asks do you still want it. Kroil oil, leather patch, cleaning rod and my palm nailer cleared it right up with no damage.
