Many great cartridges mentioned here, the forgotten are the .284 Winchester and the 38-55 Winchester.
I would Like to see 358 WSSM, I have seen it made for AR's and bolt rifles in certain states in it.
I agree! I have a M700 in 8mm mag that is extremely accurate.
That 8mag is a new twist on an old cartridge. Sort of speak. 8mm Mauser. Same dia. And it's close to a 338 Win Mag. With a boat tail bullet should really reach out there
The 8mm Magnum is dead and buried.

I don't foresee anything getting resurrected. The industry has a much better understanding of ballistics and what leads to better ballistic performance than even 15 years ago. No need to resurrect a cartridge when you can just as easily produce a better cartridge
