What's this Tec-9 worth?

Just saw this Pre 86 Transferrable on GunBroker. I mean in case any of y'all wanna go all in on the "I remember the 80s" trip.

Your value is in nostalgia. Some are worth more than others. I have one, pre-bankruptcy, in box, with a milled front sight, when they were actually trying. I'm not paying a grand but I think they're cool and love these tube style guns-especially the SMG stuff.

On a GunBroker auction I'd expect no less than $800 and wouldn't be surprised if it went up to $1100.

There's definitely a market for them on GunBroker. Last AB-10 (which is the neutered version) I sold on GunBroker went for $800.

Don't forget the Kimel AP-9 that showed up late 80's. For the time, IMO, an improved Tec-9.
I was just about to mention the AP 9 after reading your last comment. I do prefer the overall look and the safety selector of the AP 9. But evidently the early versions had problems with the frame cracking at the rear. There's a guy on GunBroker that has a bunch of the newer style frames for sale. But that's all he has. And the AP 9 parts are even harder to find than Tec 9 parts.
I dig 80s vintage guns as much as anyone. But for what I see Tec 9s selling for these days you're definitely better off buying some type of AR9 or Stribog . Hell maybe even some type of B&T . Oh and according to TFB TV Beretta now offers a modernized tube type gun that's actually dependable.

Weren’t both Tec-9 and ab10 both closed bolt semi’s manufactured after 1983?
More or less from my understanding. AB-10 just has a non threaded barrel and no barrel shroud. The kind of stuff that gives California politicians nightmares. Makes them a little less sought after.
