What's worse, Flippers or Low-Ballers?

Some people think your lowballing when there asking $600 for there gen 3 glock and you offer $450
That's why I don't understand "low ball". What's low ball to the seller may be a realistic price. I do agree with "firm" listings. I take that as gospel.
 
Maybe. If you had something for sale I could give you an example. My point is why bother making a lower-than-asking-price-offer when the ad reads FIRM?

Some people are of the mindset that everything is negotiable and they don't pay "retail". Start low the worst you can say is no. Or they may legitimately only have X amount of dollars and wondering if its there lucky day. I don't fault people for trying. Heck I might do it myself. Most of us don't know the exact value of these different guns and while you price might in fact be fair to someone that can get a NIB G27 for $400 on some program or with the GSSF coupon a used one at $425 isn't that good of a deal.

Flippers on the other hand creates a whole other problem. They are creating a false demand and limiting availability for everyone.
