Why did you get rid of it? I really want one but I am terrified of the running costs. I maintain my E30 and E39 540i just fine but ///M in fron of anything just means MORE money...how was it for you?

Just wanted something different. They can be expensive to maintain. Tires are staggered sizes and not cheap. The oil and filter kits are $75 or so plus labor. Don't even go to a dealer about plugs and wires. I think that was close to 1G. They say the smg transmission is bulletproof but that is the one thing that always worried me when I got out of warranty.

That CTS-V is a beast as well!

My Son called from Texas, Big time Mechanical Engineer, wanting me to get his 68 Chevelle back in running order. Years ago when I told him, I would build the car he wants if he got the grades at UGA. He did so I did, It has been in my Garage for 10 years..He came home for Christmas just as I finished..She Runs sweet converted over to Power front Disc Brakes and other mods..He is Happy, Happy, Happy..Will ship Via transport after New Years
