When does your pending date start on a Form 4?

Hey Guys,

Mailed my form 4 11/18, check cashed 11/20, still not showing pending when I call the NFA. I see people are getting a turn around 4 months or so from pending date, is my pending date when it finally shows up in the system or the day the check was cashed?

From the date the check is cashed. I will tell you now to be patient . I have seen from 4-6 months plus lately on for 4's . I have learned that calling does not good . Usually it will go pending around 30 days from the date you mailed the check. Calling and harassing them does no good , remember they have 100's of these to process, too many calls slows the system down . Even though it is already very slow .

If the check was cashed it will be pending any day. The whole process, start to finish, is currently averaging 6 months.

Bump for concern. First check cashed 11/20, other one cashed 12/13. Called and neither are showing up in their system. I was told on the phone that they don't go pending til they show up in the system. The 11/20 is very concerning as it has been 6 weeks already on that one. Anybody got any clue?

Just keep calm and forget about them. If they cashed the checked then they received your form.i have one cashed from the same time and still not pending as of last week.

We looking at 4 -5 months from when it finally shows up in their system or 4-5 months from check cashed date?

No idea. When it gets here it gets here.. But then again I have other cans already.

My experience also included following up with the dealer. My check cashed and after no contact in more than two months I called the dealer on a Friday who told me they heard nothing, only to receive a phone call on Saturday telling me the paperwork had come in....Just like a miracle.

dont worry about it. They have been weird with pending dates lately. you can probably call back next week and they will tell you its pedning as of 11/22. They are back dating pending dates a lot lately.

Right now we are seeing about 4 months from the MAILING date.
