It hit 12° here. Stayed up a bit late with some whiskey and ginger beer burning a hot fire inside to help the house out. Everything seems pretty good. Been having to thaw the chickens water every morning and during the day a little yesterday. Looks like we’re about to be out of the bitter cold though.
I remember playing in single digit cold with snow and ice. Hunting in it when I was younger. Now it is just painful

Update - now at 40. So tired of winter
It hit 23 here on the coast and just reached 40. It's supposed to be 76 by Thursday.
