Where can I take my son shore fishing on lake lanier?

The best place for me to turn with this question is the ODT....

I'd like to find a couple of spots to shore fish with my son when we have time. Any tips would be appreciated..

I'm either a horrible fisher or just no luck but every time I got to lake Lanier to fish I get nothing. I go to Charlie Elliot and have the best luck
