Years ago, my fire station responded to a 911 call where Nadine got mad because…and I quote here,”I was fixin to make me a bacon sammich but Darrell ate all the bacon, so I had to bust him upside the head and now I need y’all to check my blood and fix my nerve!”
No worries, Darrell was in fact, okay. Surprisingly, so was Nadine’s blood glucose…but to no one’s surprise, the 400 pound woman’s blood pressure was not…it was a bit elevated. Also, we were unable to “fix her nerve”.
