Environment of the operation and how long is the key for me. For extended periods in the field in all conditions with little ability replace parts or do more than basic upkeep. I'd go Glock.

Anything outside of those parameters I'd take my Wilson 1911 every time.

Now that is a nice Commie Killer.

If I could have only one, then I was poor and for sure couldn't afford to shoot. Therefore, I would need to cast my own bullets (which I do anyways). So the answer would be the 1911. Also works better as a club when you're out of ammo.
