I went yesterday to put up a ladder stand and a hut on some land the wife and I hunt in White County. It looks like we are again going to have a bumper crop of acorns again this year. This land borders the Hooch and both locations I picked out are on top of two different ridgelines with bordering pastures. The trees are hardwoods and mostly white oak and there are so many acorns on the ground it is like walking on marbles. I just hope it is colder this year. Are any of you folks seeing anything similar?
