I spent about $100 on this mini chopper, so I'd like to save it if I can.

Not sure what kind of metal it is, I believe it's stainless but I can't remember and I can't find it on the website anymore.

Can someone weld this back up for me? Also I'd like to change the handle if able. Dark gray or black micarta or something similar with orange liners would be ideal. The half-moon seems to be a void that doesn't go all the way through.

What's the going rate for something like this?

Thanks in advance!

2 1/8 inch pins drilled vertical. Looks like the cleaver was bent and broke.

I was chopping through some semi-frozen meat and it was getting stuck, I was wiggling it to get it out each time. I didn't think I was torquing on it that much, certainly not enough to break it. My suspicion is it already had a weak spot there

You'll need to drill out the rivets, but what does the rest the tang look like? Are there more of the half-moon things like where it broke?

Those pins should be able to be pressed out I think.

I'm not sure about the rest of the tang until the scales come off, then we'll know.

The only thing I can look at is the break inside the handle...hard to get the camera to focus there...
