Who else drinks Coffee on a day like today?

My first job one summer was a laborer for this old man who was a brick mason. 95+ degrees and he wore long sleeves, hardhat and drank hot black coffee all day long. My job was to tote brick, mix mud and make coffee. He could outwork any of us.
I've drank from a half to one cup with only powdered flavored creamer (plain plus Splenda in the earlier years) first thing every morning for the last 20 plus years, and then you couldn't pay me to drink another drop the rest of the day, even during frigid weather. Hot coffee is good, but not that good........
But how ya gonna taste if you do that? Unless you’re gonna drink it while you’re hooked up to the IV....Ahhhhh, I gotcha.
I remember my Dad doing the same thing, after a long day at the Delta jet base he’d come home and change clothes and go straight to work at Clayton County PD (long before the midget took over) as a Detective. All day long he’d drink that black coffee and be puffin’ on those Winstons. I miss that old coot.
I drink it on days like today and every other day. Weather is irrelevant it seems. Strong, black, and just a little sugar.
