I very recently got myself jacked up and chomping at the bit to buy a Glock and a Mech Tech upper to assemble a .45 carbine. I did hours of research changing my mind from 1911 to Glock. Then deciding to by a 10mm because I figured it would be easier to sell the upper to someone who had a 45 and wanted to have the additional upper. I picked out a stock, sling mounts sights the works. Looked at ballistics. Watched plenty of youtube. I got as far as discussing buying the pistol from a fellow ODt'er (who I hope does not feel like I wasted any of his time).
Then as I got all the research and planning done and was basking in the afterglow, reality set in and I started doubting if I could really afford it. Thought do I really need it. I kinda felt like a dog that actually caught a car. What do I do now? Or when you have been flirting with that girl at work for a while and she finally says ok and you start thinking what have I done.
This is not the first time either.
What guns have you done this over?
