Who is actually shooting .223?

I got a sh*tload of 223 I paid 3.75 a box for. plus plenty of powder, primers and bullets to load more.

We are already there. CCI#41 primers are on back order until 9/02. Same for most powders, cases and projectiles.

I think alot of the times, sites put up later than expected dates so they don't have to deal with as many "when are you getting more" calls and emails.
I was reading an article the other day that referenced the ammount of primers CCI makes in a day and it was a huge number.

Probably, I've also noticed they tend to move those dates back when they get closer. I also think it is because they really have no clue.

I shoot the hell out of some .223. Plenty of affordable .223 to be found if you look in the right places.

Yes, last week at the rifle range. Sighted in a 7.62 x 39 with irons as well (larger holes).

I have no problem shooting mine or finding ammo for .50 a bullet to replace them with.

Maybe it also has to do with the limitations of a 25 yard indoor range that makes me not want to waste ammo much!

still shooting have plenty loaded and enough components to load about 2k only shoot about 100 at a time

also the range I shoot at has 223 ammo for $10 a box (20rnds)
