Who knew that Praying Mantises were an exotic pet?

I bought eggs, similar to these several times. Hatch them out and release in garden. Bought lady bugs and other such critters as well. Was once a beekeeper... talk about an expensive hobby

yep. bee "keeper". Not much keeping going on these days unless you stand firm on warfare with varroa. I bought and collected swarms but unless I stayed diligent on treatments I couldn't 'keep' them long.

Last time Lawrenceville had the reptile show, there were a lot of folks selling off their inventory really cheap. There was a dude that had about 10 snakes all under 50$- I saw a black ( I don’t know what it was ) snake for 25$. I almost bought it, just because it was so CHEAP!!!!

Our enemy was ants. Collected wood chips for gardening purposes and created a utopia for those little black Argentinian/sugar ants. Couldn't get rid of them and they ran the bees off

Over the winter we had a few green anoles make their way inside. Instead of putting them out in the cold we got them a whole studio apartment set up. About a month ago, we let them back out.

This little dude still hangs around and will actually jump on my arm if I put it out. He returns to my avocado tree every night.
