who went to the jim miller park show today?

Lol... I went to the last Jim Miller show and sold high. Got tired of ppl whining over "too" high on this board...

If you are looking to buy an AR now you deserve to pay high prices.. sorry but if you didn't learn from the last election that is your own fault....

Hopefully it will come back down though.. I want to start shooting again and ammo is just out there...

I didnt go in when i saw the line.

I dont remember anymore what it was that turned me off from them years back. Something along the lines of the big box vendors were complaining when other tables would sell the weapons at a fair price and as a result a lot of people werent allowed in to have a table. That turned me off right there.

I did get a guy to offer me $350 for my AMT 45 backup. Probably should have taken it, but the damned thing has grown attached to me. Little ****er.

I hope the people that spent that much eat their own sh** when it goes back down I mean I know some good dealers at the show they always have fair prices but yesterday they joined the rest of the overpriced crowd

If I can sell X for $500 or $1,000 why would I sell it for $500?

The manufacturers can't fill all the orders they have now. A dealer needs to sell for more than he did 6 months ago because it is taking 4 times longer to restock.

Because socialism is better right?

What's your definition of socialism because I know at least 100 different ones. What's your opinion on this tired, over used pejorative that can be used to describe about 90% of our everyday dealings with government (yes, the US gubmint)?

Seems pretty easy to understand to me. The dealers have to look at tomorrow as well as today. Won't stay in business if they don't.

Im not mad at the dealers as much as I am at the idiots panicking over this junk like everyday is black friday for guns ...If you didnt have an AR when they were 750 then dont even bother buying one for 2500...its that simple I built a few for under 700 and right now I wouldn't dream of selling or buying one. some liberal idiots woke up and started buying guns and people are taking advantage of them. private sellers have nothing to restock so why the ridiculous PS prices. I get that its what ever the market will hold but people are making accounts on here solely to sell something for an outrageous amount and never sign on again and that takes away from the enjoyment of this site; trying to find a deal

Haven't been to a gun show in years, I have the ODT..And even though we have the ones who try to pawn off a $1200 SKS, there are others who sell them for a fair price, just sit and wait and surf the site. I know who to deal with and who to NOT:cool:

Sure private sellers have to restock. You have never sold a gun to fund a new one? I have.

Preowned prices on any market are based on new prices until you get into antique/collectibles and guns are no exception.

The funny thing is I don't see any of the price whiners offering to sell his guns at yesterday's prices.
