Who's done with their collection?

Can't say. I'd be lying anyway if I said, "I am done."

Just bought an obscure target pistol yesterday that violated my number 1 rule. "Never buy a pistol who's magazines cost more than $150 each."

On the other hand it did inspire me to figure out how to remove a broken safety selector on another rare target pistol without damaging the slide. That project has been sitting in a closet shelf since 2015.
You left the bait on the hook. What kind of target pistol??

Never. I still want a transferable MP5/MP5k and a suppressed Barrett 50. The shorty benelli M4 is also on my list, sig 226 X5 legion, a threaded 45-70 lever gun, TP9-pro, commander size double-stack nighthawk 45 acp.....etc etc etc....

I'm done... I think.
I have a few things I need to list I just haven't got around to it yet.
I did have to talk myself out of a 308 over the weekend. I was reaching for my card when I remembered I was trying to downsize my life.

I've been either downsizing the collection (or maintaining it with a policy that for every new gun that comes in one has to be sold or traded away).

I've been doing this for many years.

Then recently I traded 2 guns + cash for a motorcycle, and never "replaced " them.

I'm OK with that-- I've got enough firearms, though I could always use more ammo and practice time at the range.

I'm of the belief that you "need" an HD/carry pistol, social rifle, and any guns for animals you hunt for food. After that, it's a hobby.

I'm honestly good with my "go fast" gear these days. Working in a gun store has shown me that really there's nothing new under the sun, and there's nothing we sell that offers a capacity that I don't have.

Makes me interested in revolvers and non-tactical stuff. I could be done and shoot what I have forever. or I could trade around and mess with accessories/set ups.

Honestly a single, night vision ready rifle that is set up damn well is cooler to me than a pile of PSAs in the closet.
