Ya. Watched a guy I went to high school with take a scope hard years ago. Made him bleed and me laugh.
Buddy of mine bloodied his eye THROUGH his glasses a couple years ago with his 30-06.

I've smacked myself a couple of times shooting at weird angles from a deer stand. Never got cut, but a pretty good lump once. Clean kill on the deer, though.
never done it. i understand how people would do it, but dont know why.
from watching youtube, it looks like cruel jokes people play on nonshooters showing them how to shoot a rifle and letting them hold it like a liberal thinks you hold a rifle.

Out with my Dad, and the neighbor across the street, Robert. I was about 11. Robert spent quite a few minutes preaching to me the virtues of eye relief, and solid shoulder contact while mounting his 742....Then BOOM....Laid his eyebrow wide open with immence amounts of blood spewing all over the shooting bench....Dad is laughing his ass off, I'm scared as ****. Robert didn't even miss a beat, grabbed his hanky out of his front pocket, dabbed his brow, and said "and THAT, is how NOT to do it......
My ex scoped herself so bad (with her ex's 30-30) I had to take her to the ER in LaGrange for stitches.
