i bought one of the B14 Hunters in 6.5 Creedmoor and I'm impressed so far. I just got my Nosler 140 Ballistic tips in and started doing load development. My first step is to pick a medium charge of powder and then start lightly into the lands and work my way off the lands. I shot 5 groups with the bullet seated progressivly further off the lands and here are my results. These are 3 shot groups at 100 yards in a 15MPH wind with a 9x Nikon Monarch.
Lightly Touching Lands - 0.500"
.005 off - 1.035"
.015 off -.0.314"
.025 off - 0.436"
.035 off -0.821" Group
Looks like I'll be loading around .015 off the lands. Now to work on a powder charges...
Anyway, this is with the cheapest rifle they make. The B14 Hunter is around 700, the action is slick, and the trigger is awesome. I don't know what else you could want out of a factory rifle.
