why do people go the mall?

i hate the general public, and it seems like no matter which mall i am at i am always surrounded by the lowest common denominator

granted this happened in pittsburgh, the armpit of the us, but how are malls still around? the internet is the best thing ever (it brought me the ODT after all)

I rarely go the malls anymore.. and when I do I am typically not there for long.

Malls are still popular up North despite the convenience of ordering online because of the crappy weather.
Unless you want to fight the crowds at a ski resort or sit at home there isn't a lot to do this time of year.
