Question for you constitutionalist: Do you ever go to any other states that dont have as relaxed laws about carrying/self defense and just think you can cry the 2nd if you have to defend yourself in court?

What other "feel good" document will people ask to see if Constitutional Carry comes to Georgia and we don't have to show an easy to fake lil' plastic card?

Will my library or NRA card suffice to please the crown?

Im going to go out on a limb and say this:
State law saying you can't carry concealed isnt a violation of your right to keep and bear arms because it doesn't prevent you from owning or carrying a firearm, just the nature of concealing it.

Not saying i agree with it, but i would bet thats about the jest of how it would be argued against you.

If it's an established member with plenty of feedback I don't usually bother unless they offer it up. If they are new to the site, I immediately default to asking for ID to verify that they are a resident. A CWP also helps to confirm they are legal to purchase a firearm since, well, a felon can't possess one.
