Guns and ammo are just easier dealt ftf. I think for most members, myself included, meeting new people is just as much part of the hobby as evolving your collection.

Most people say no shipping in their ad, you can always ask em if they will. Some might not, but a lot of us will actually ship things.

I appreciate all of the comments. I kinda' figured people didn't want to ship because of the uncertainty regarding the buyer.

One has to be careful about how they ship to avoid breaking laws. Long guns not many obstacles but hand guns that's different story if you're an individual.

It is just a pain in the ass, but if I get the right price from the right buyer, I will ship.

I ship, but I don't sell much either. I'm small time for sure compared to most these guys.

I'll ship. The buyer really takes all the risk. Payment first. Not seeing the piece before payment. I don't think I'd ask this group to ship to me.

I'll ship FFL to FFL after I recieve payment, buyer pays for shipping. No big deal.

Same here never had an issue.
There is little stuff on here I would buy in a heartbeat but once again,no ship.
i.e. I'm not driving 60 to 70 miles for say 1911 grips ,when they could be shipped in state or local.
Don't get it??
