Wild looking squirrel

Buddy of mine went golfing today and snapped a picture of this wild looking squirrel.

I’ve got some really big gray squirrels as well as fox squirrels but never seen one look like this one before.

I’m thinking it’s a fox squirrel but my woods they are more red and no dark facial

He was at Callaway Gardens and it’s not but 15 miles from my porch. I’ve never seen one like this in my area ever

I did see some years and years ago near Texas (Heard Co)

None at the farm.
