Look like an oyster mushroom.

I wouldnt chance it. I love good shrooms, but the bad ones are a terrible and painful way to die.

Cant tell if chanterelles or not. Cut one in half. Take closer pictures. Do they smell like apricots?

Reminds me of a MAD magazine cartoon of 60 years ago....scene in a grocery store, produce dept. had 2 displays, one said "Mushrooms $5.00/pound", right next to it was another display of mushrooms with the sign "Mushrooms? $1.00/pound".

They do look kinda like Chantrelles. Here is a pick of one cut in half. The fruit flies are after them. I think that is fruit fly larve on the top.
