winchester .22 lr- 333 round count box=garbage

Most of the time the opening compound is just uneven. Many times you can reload them and they'll fire if the firing pin his a different spot.

That's what I thought as well, and did retry the rounds and occasionally the dud would fire but most often not the newer Winchester ammo will not after 2, 3 or 4 tries on different areas of the rim. When I was kid we would just re-chamber it and it would more often than not it would fire.

Not today and not with the Winchester bulk packs that I have become familiar with.

Yes, many times a second try of 22 R fire will make it go boom!
But for me , if I have to line up the sights to fire (not even considering if you were hunting small game) and then it go click-- then you have to eject, find the ejected round, put it back in the magazine and try it over!!
well that's the problem to me, not that I may have 2-3 -4 rounds of 22 LR that will not fire at all.
nothing is more annoying than getting a batch of 22 LR that does not go bang, or fails to have power to eject and cycle.

I guess I've been lucky, but I've never had any bad problems out of any .22. I don't care for WWB much, but for a while it was the only kind I saw and purchased it. I try to save it for the kids, but I haven't seen many problems with it, less than 1%.
