Winter weather ??

The propane / gas guy just came by. I took him a mug of hot chocolate and we talked for several minutes as the tank filled and he rolled up the hose and wrote the receipt. We inquired about each other's families and discussed our work. He'll be out working till late tonight, so we prayed together as well.
Our tank is filled, early, before the anticipated storm.

You walkin??!!........They are already announcing school closings for north GA (for Fri) and a lot of the metro Atlanta area . I guess they think it may get bad. Or bad enough !!
Oh well, I gotta go get bread and milk !! See y’all , stay warm !!
It'd be funny if nothin happened.......again. Now I guess I better go buy some gas for the gen.........They going to do all this stuff and nothing will happen !
They started the fear mongering last week. Polar vortex and all. I went and got milk and bread. That was a week ago and I'm now out of milk and bread. F me.
After 2.5hrs of sleep I had to take my Wife for her Mom's Doc visit then to my Wife's visit this morning. Chems were spread already.
There was this guy that had his foot amputated. But he was still cheerful and carrying on with things. As we were leaving, we saw him in the hallway. I asked how it went. He said not well, now they're going to amputate above his knee. Poor man was sad. He was pulling himself along with his good leg. I asked if I could help him. He finally agreed. So I helped him get to his car. Moral is no matter how bad you think you have it, it could be worse.
Tomorrow it'll be sunny and clear skies......The weather man is the only one that can be wrong and still get paid......
Yea, but I guarantee they didn't wait till the end of the day to drink those beers.......🤣Talking about the driver and your wife bringing him hot chocolate…..that is what makes great connections is the little favors that you do for these folks that doesn’t take much to do but if the time comes, you are definitely going to be “first on the list” for stuff that others may very well have to wait on !!
I do the same thing and have gotten the wife to understand it and also kick in.
When we first got together she couldn’t get it when I did the little stuff for some people when I didn’t have to. Like leaving the garbage men a few leftover beers when we had a party, for when they got off work.
Or putting a frozen bottle of water in the mailbox on the hot days right when the mailman was due to deliver your mail.
More than once I got huge “Thanks !!” from these folks.
