I live/hunt about a mile from some RR tracks. They fire up every time the train comes through in the mornings and evenings. Actually works pretty good during hunting season because I always know where they are during that time. Although, it is very uncomfortable when they yelp between me and my truck right at dusk! If I only had some explosive device that would track that awful noise and exterminate everything in that general area when it happens.....

Coyotes are generally non aggressive towards humans, you have nothing to fear from them. That being said when I jumped some on my morning run the other day I decided I had ran enough and went to the house.

I live in the city limits and have heard them in my woods at night from time to time. It worries me because I have kids.
