LOL. Hey, you're talking to a hard core 1911 guy. My EDC is a WC CQB. I was only talking about a Glock approach to a 1911 build might be interesting to see. Plastic has no place on a 1911 period. Besdies they already make Glock reliable/tough/proven 1911's (Wilson Combat, ED Brown, Night Hawk to name a few) there's just that small issue of cost
